Brighouse PR and communications agency Faith PR has been appointed by the UK’s leading professional golf travel services provider.
Fairway Travel, located in Sowerby Bridge, has chosen Faith PR to build awareness of its brand among the UK professional golfing industry through ongoing social media management and content marketing.
The appointment sees Faith PR join forces with Huddersfield-based Browndog Design who will be providing design and digital support, which includes revamping the Fairway Travel Website and the design and build of an e-communications programme.
Fairway Travel is the UK’s largest and longest established specialist professional golf travel provider with over 25 years’ experience in providing travel solutions to professional players, officials and media of the PGA European Tour. The company counts some of the world’s golfing elite among its clients including Rory McIlroy, Lee Westwood, Graeme McDowell and Ian Poulter.
Speaking about the appointment Faith PR’s founding director Stefanie Hopkins said:
“Fairway Travel is an established brand in the professional golfing world but wants to take awareness of its name and services to the next level. Although it is a very niche sector, we believe that our skills and experience can help Fairway achieve their growth plans.
“We’re also delighted to be partnering with Browndog to deliver the campaign. We have successfully worked with Alexis and his team over the past 12 months on various projects and look forward to cementing our partnership and complimentary skillsets.”
Andrew Marsden, director of Fairway Travel added:
“We look forward to working closely with Faith PR and Browndog on what is an exciting new chapter for Fairway Travel. We feel that their experience and skills fit well with what we want to achieve over the next 12 months, which includes growing our corporate travel division. Our aim is to enhance the service with added customer facing technology and with a targeted marketing campaign.”
Fairway is the latest company to choose Faith PR in the last few months. The agency was also appointed by engineering design and project management company Projex Solutions to manage the PR surrounding its involvement in the development and creation of a new £5million process manufacturing training plant – the Process Manufacturing Centre (PMC) – due to open for training in Huddersfield in summer.
