We recently welcomed James to our team in a newly created role as a digital content management assistant, here is what he thinks of the industry so far…

Hi James, tell us a bit about yourself

I’m James and I’m not exactly your average guy. I like to make stuff, from concept to reality.

I know a little about a lot, and a lot about a little. I am a student of life. Previously I have worked as a cook for a while. I have a lot of hobbies, from woodworking to electronics, web dev to screen-printing. I take great pride in my work and ‘the process’.

First month done, how did you find it?

The time has flown by. It is a great team, good management. Everyone has been very welcoming and supportive, I feel like I am learning a lot and growing.

Were there any unexpected surprises?

When I take on a new challenge, I expect the worst and plan for the best and I have been pleasantly surprised so far. It’s really interesting to get involved in projects and getting to meet the team.

Tell us about what you were doing before joining the team?

I was reorganising and prioritising aspects of my life, developing skills and experiencing life.

What is something we wouldn’t know about you from your CV?

Over the past 8 years, the longest I’ve stayed in one place is less than 2 years.

If you weren’t in the world of PR, what would you be doing and why?

Traveling non-stop and sharing the experience, hopefully inspiring others to chase their dreams.

What job would you be really bad at?

Cooking and working in kitchens. I have done my time in those now.

Any surprise talents?

It wouldn’t be a surprise if I told you!

If you had an autobiography, what would it be called?

‘Me Being Me’, or ‘Don’t Try This at Home’.

You’re a new addition to the crayon box, what colour would you be and why?

I would be the whole box of colours; life is about diversity and range. It would be difficult to be just one colour.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][/vc_column][/vc_row]
