The Mid Yorkshire Chamber of Commerce has announced the shortlist for its inaugural awards programme, the Mid Yorkshire Chamber of Commerce Business Awards, celebrating innovation, resilience and true Yorkshire grit within its membership.
The judges chose the finalists based on nomination submitted outlining their incredible work throughout such a tough economic period for our region, due to the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic and new challenges following Brexit.

The Chamber has also announced the Awards judging panel, who have created the shortlist and will select the ultimate winners for each category:
- Stephen Moore, city manager at City Fibre
- Caroline Wilson, partnership manager for Leeds City Region at Enterprise Growth Solutions
- Mark Evans, owner of Better Telecoms Ltd
- Melissa Roberts, founder and managing director of Beanie Media
Martin Hathaway, managing director of the Mid Yorkshire Chamber of Commerce, said: “We are delighted to announce the shortlist and shine a light on these incredible businesses that truly embody what it means to be a part of the Chamber community.
“We aim to connect, support and represent businesses across the Halifax, Huddersfield and Wakefield regions and put our region on the map as the place to do business.

The awards ceremony will take place on Wednesday 27 April at The Quarry, Wakefield. Members and non-members are invited to attend.
