We have been appointed to provide PR and marketing support to Mirfield-based Northorpe Hall Child and Family Trust as the organisation seeks to raise its profile within the region.

Northorpe Hall have tasked us with building awareness of their ability to deliver quality services and evidence them as a preferred partner for would-be partners through a comprehensive and multi-channel media campaign. It will also inform and seek to influence key stakeholders across the regions’ local authorities through PR activity.

In addition, we will also manage the build of a new website for the Trust and the creation of sales and marketing collateral.

Established over 50 years ago, Northorpe Hall has a long standing reputation of providing innovative and high-quality mental health services – supporting thousands of children and young people across Kirklees.

The charity has grown significantly in recent years, securing funding from Kirklees Council and Clinical Commissioning Groups to offer the Children’s Emotional Wellbeing Service (ChEWS) in Kirklees since 2012.  This year, the charity also launched Kirklees Youth Mentoring – a project which is funded by The Big Lottery Reaching Communities Fund – providing long term, flexible support to young people facing tough times.

One of our first campaigns for the charity was to provide media relations support for the opening of Northorpe Hall’s dedicated centre in Huddersfield which will provide counselling, mentoring, group work and therapy for local children and young people aged 5–18 years. The new centre will have four dedicated rooms to support up to 60 children a week through after-school appointments and activities.

Our founder and managing director Stefanie Hopkins said:

“There is a major reorganisation of children’s health services underway and we will be making sure Northorpe Hall is appreciated and valued in the discussions and changes taking place over the coming months. We’re also excited to be working on a brand new website to better reflect the organisation.

“We have a great deal of experience working across the healthcare sector and we hope to deliver tangible results for the Trust.”
