After establishing a successful working relationship during 2017, Yorkshire arts organisation Manasamitra has appointed our agency to deliver a further major project and oversee its overall PR activity.

Manasamitra is an arts organisation that delivers a range of South Asian arts and cultural experiences and develops traditional styles to embrace different cultural influences, and has tasked our team with developing a strategy to promote Lullaby Sonic Cradle through PR and social media.

Alongside this we will be building the personal profile of Manasamitra founder Supriya Nagarajan focusing on her as a composer and musician.

Lullaby Sonic Cradle is a contemporary musical exploration and community outreach project inspired by the songs Indian women sing to their babies whilst working in the fields and interspersed with audio recording gathered from members of local communities across the UK, Scandinavia and Europe. The result is a restful, tranquil, immersive and live musical experience featuring interactive visual effects.

Speaking about the continued relationship, founder and MD of Faith PR, Stefanie Hopkins, said: ”

“Our work with Manasamitra offers us the opportunity to speak to a diverse media audience, including regional press and broadcast media, arts publications and the business sector.

“We have developed and delivered strategies that have helped place Manasamitra in front of each audience and we look forward to continuing to raise awareness about their current projects while building the profile of its sounder Supriya.

Bollywood Jazz is an entirely new genre of music, and earlier this year we secured regional television and radio exposure as well as coverage in local newspapers ahead of eight tour dates across the north of England. We also facilitated media and influencer reviews of the performances while managing a social media campaign that supported the main PR activity.

To further support the campaign, we also designed a bespoke media pack to help Manasamitra promote its second Bollywood Jazz tour and aid in securing bookings.

The new project will start in the autumn of 2018 and will take us into the first half 2019, follows a PR campaign to promote Manasamitra’s Bollywood Jazz performance tour earlier this year.
