Leading industry sales podcast ‘The Insiders’ has returned with a new feel and format for its second season following its successful roll-out last year. 

Produced by Newcastle-based demand generation firm durhamlane, the podcast gives listeners the inside track on achieving success in qualified lead generation, marketing and sales conversion strategies and features senior sales and marketing leaders from global brands who share invaluable insights, advice and thought leadership. 

Previous guests have included experts from Google, RS Components, Siemens, Fellowes and Sodexo while this year’s guest line-up includes Karen Kulinski, EMEA Marketing and Communications Director of ADLINK, Richard Jeffers, Founder and MD of RSIndustria, Paul Gowans, Global Director of Regional and Channel Marketing of VIAVI Solution and Antti Nykänen, Head of Marketing for AFRY. 

The Insiders is hosted by durhamlane co-founder and chief commercial officer, Richard Lane who has over 16 years of sales industry experience, delivering sales 2.0 business coaching and consultancy. 

Since the podcast launched in May 2022 it has reached a global audience of passionate sales professionals in over 60 countries. 

Discussing the launch of season two for the podcast, Richard says: “The Insiders has created a community of global sales and marketing leaders who are keen to share the learnings and expertise they have amassed working in technical and complex market sectors. 

“This season’s format changes include shorter, more focused episodes – because everyone’s time is precious – and structured discussions led by myself around three specific topics chosen by our guests in advance.  

“We’re also shifting our focus towards actionable insights and practical advice around how businesses can elevate their sales strategies. While we love to dive into industry trends and stories, our primary aim is to provide our listeners with takeaways that they can implement immediately in their own sales and marketing strategies.
