Twisted Automotive has been invited to take part in one of the world’s most exclusive supercar road tours – the Atlantic Road Trip – across four countries from Oslo to Pärnu, via Stockholm, Helsinki and Tallinn.
The six-day, 1,300-mile Atlantic Road Trip begins in Oslo on August 11 and promises exhilarating drives through the most mesmerising scenery along the Atlantic Road to Trondheim, then on to Stockholm, Turku, Helsinki and Tallinn before hitting the racetrack at Pärnu.
Joining the small convoy of supercars is the Twisted 110 Classic Series I. The well-travelled vehicle took the Twisted team 1,800 miles across Europe in March this year as it exhibited at the Geneva Motor Show and has completed two Yorkshire 300 events as well as the Atlantic Road Trip in 2017.
To ensure its readiness for the event, a rear storage drawer, load space racking and a 50-litre fridge has been fitted by the Twisted technicians.
This year’s Atlantic route takes drivers through the iconic Trollstigen Serpentine, one of the most famous mountain roads in Norway, into the heart of Sweden, then on to Helsinki before boarding a ferry to Estonia. Drivers will take in Tallinn before ending the trip with some racing action on the Auto24ring track, Estonia’s only closed circuit racetrack, followed by an exclusive party on the sands of Pärnu.
Twisted Automotive founder and MD Charles Fawcett will be taking part in the final leg of the drive. He commented: “The Atlantic Road Trip is known for being one of the most breathtakingly beautiful drives in the world. The routes on this drive are incredible and will give us the perfect opportunity to show what the Twisted can do on the open road.”
Rick Jesse, author and founder of design and branding company Dogtooth who has branded up the Twisted for the road trip, will be behind the wheel of the vehicle. Dogtooth also kitted out the same vehicle when it took part in the Gumball 3000 rally two years ago.
